Increase Your Web Traffic With Google AdWords

When it comes to Internet website traffic, does the phrase 'Google AdWords' fill you with dread? You've heard all the horror stories about marketers losing their shirt (or worse)! This has put you off even trying this traffic tactic. But, think for a minute: why is it so competitive? Because it works! Can you think of a quicker way of getting onto page one of Google?

Using Google AdWords for rapid Internet website traffic:

Let's think about the scenario of a shiny new website. You've worked hard to get it up together. You are proud of your concept and how the site works. It has a great 'user experience' for sure! But, you have zero visitors. So, how do you know it converts? How do you know people will like it? How do you know if it will succeed as you've hoped? Basically, you have no idea! All you can base your 'hope' on is your own experience. What if you're wrong?

Well, this is where AdWords really comes into its own. It's well worth setting aside a few hundred dollars to get some instant traffic. Then, you will know for certain whether your new 'whizz bang' site is a dud or not!
The first thing to do is, set-up a simple campaign using your top ten keywords. Use 'exact match' at first, and see how that goes. Roll out 'phrase match' and 'broad search' in succession for keyword phrases that aren't getting enough traffic.

If you find that you are getting some good traffic, i.e. targeted, then why not continue with those keywords? As you roll out other 'one-time' traffic tactics and start to get your site ranking with your repeated activity, then you can scale your AdWords campaign back, for that site.
